The State of Women’s Health Report from Cleveland Clinic highlights critical gaps in women’s healthcare awareness, research, and access, while underscoring the urgent need for more personalized, sex-specific approaches to care.
Drawing on national survey data and expert insights, the report explores how women continue to face barriers to diagnosis, preventive care, and treatment across a range of conditions—including cardiovascular disease, menopause-related health changes, and neurological disorders that disproportionately affect women.
Importantly, the report reinforces the growing recognition that women’s brain health must be prioritized as part of a holistic approach to lifelong wellness, particularly given women’s increased risk for Alzheimer’s disease and other cognitive conditions.
Cleveland Clinic’s leadership in advancing integrated women’s health research and innovation aligns closely with CWBH’s mission to elevate awareness, education, and action around women’s brain health.
We are also proud to recognize Sandy Gleysteen, a member of our Leadership Team, for her work alongside Cleveland Clinic and the Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement in helping drive national conversations and advocacy efforts focused on improving outcomes for women.
