The Ann S. Bowers Women’s Brain Health Initiative is kicking off its fall lecture series with a presentation exploring the connections between menopause, brain aging and dementia.
On Monday, September 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM ET / 8:00 AM PT, Madeline Wood Alexander, PhD Candidate at Sunnybrook Research Institute and the University of Toronto, will present:
“Proteomics Link Menopause to Brain Aging and Dementia”
The presentation will explore research at the intersection of menopause and brain health—an important area as researchers continue working to better understand the biological factors that may contribute to brain aging and dementia across women’s lives.
The Coalition for Women’s Brain Health is pleased to share opportunities that advance awareness and discussion of research focused on women’s unique brain health needs.
